SA's Top Selling Cars
Are South Africans just unaware or is our recession not that bad? Naamsa reported that Sales for the first five months of 2009 reflect a 35,8% decline over the same period last year. New vehicle sales in May accounted for a 32,9% drop over May 2008. Even though care sales HAVE indeed gone down a whole lot, the rankings are still rather baffling, the stunning yet overpriced new C-class is the 4th most selling car??? It can't be all that bad then hey..or is the list usually even more extravagant? Passenger Cars &the amounts sold for the period:

i have a bmw 3 series and I would have thought they would outrank the c class there

ReplyDeleteMr Cond. - Yeah it used to be like that here as well, the previous 3 series model was vastly more popular, they are everywhere on the roads, but the new C-class has been received with surprising appreciation, now its becoming the car to drive if you're young & really successful.
