Wacky Wine Weekend in Robertson Wine Valley

6th Annual Wacky Wine Weekend in Cape Town's Robertson Wine Valley; A weekend with wine and good friends - nothing could be better. With over 16 000 visitors in 2008, the Wacky Wine Weekend is undeniably South Africa's biggest regional wine festival. From 4 - 7 June 2009 the festival celebrates its 6th birthday and the Robertson Wine Valley is proud to once again play host. The festival spans the valley with activities taking place at cellar doors and other hot spots; includes food & wine, outdoor, sport, adventure, family-fun and live music. Arabella Wine Estate Made Fresh by Clorets brings you ‘Arabella Live’ from 5 - 7 June 2009, a weekend of live music, great food, fun atmosphere and wine, lots of wine. Visitors to the estate will be treated to some of South Africa’s top live entertainment including Flat Stanley, Farryl Purkiss, Hot Water & 7th Son. In addition the estate will be offering gourmet catering through Dish Food and Social and providing camping facilities for overnight stays. Visitors need to purchase their passport (R60) at their first port of call. The stylish tasting glass will serve as your ticket to over 40 wineries participating this year and is valid for the duration of the festival – I think I might just attend this.
